Welcome Creative Commons!

Posted on 2013-07-18 by Adrian

Good news! We've decided to make all our work available under the Creative Commons license! That doesn't exactly mean our work will be free, but if you want to use our photos for non-profit/educational/personal/non-commercial goals, you can! All commercial (basically any publication that is intended to make money) still requires a proper, paid license though (sorry). We've been lucky all these years, and we'd like to take this opportunity to give back to the community. Feel free to e-mail us with requests for high resolution images.

Going down

Posted on 2012-06-07 by Adrian

Dear all,

It is with tremendous regret that we have to inform you that Terrible Pictures has ceased activities. It's been a fun ride, and we sincerely hope to pick this up once again at some point in our lives. The feeling of working as photojournalists has been an experience we deeply treasure, even if it was not always a commercially viable enterprise. Some things you do for the love, but even that has limits at times. We hope you understand.

Despite having been quiet for so long, the website will stay up with some of our older works. Perhaps in future we will update it again. Thank you all for your help, support, kind words and everything else in these past years. Don't worry, we'll be back, and we hope to see you all sooner rather than later.

Until then, stay frosty.

Adrian & Lieke

PS. if you have any questions, feel free to email us at info (a) terrible-pictures.com.
